Most small business websites go wrong in the same six ways.

It takes weeks to get a site up.

Start from a template already written for your kind of business, with the right sections in the right order. Most sites are ready to go live within a week.

Updating hours or prices means calling the web person.

Hours, prices, menus and services each have their own simple form. Change it on your phone and it is live.

The site looks good but nobody finds it.

Every page is set up for search from day one: page titles, a map of your pages for Google, your business type labeled for search, and fast loading on phones.

Plugins break and bills creep up.

Forms, search setup, backups and security are built in. Nothing to install or update, and nothing extra to pay unless you want hands-on help.

You are stuck with a platform forever.

Export your whole site any time. It is built on plain PHP and runs on almost any web host.

AI assistants describe your business wrong, or not at all.

Clear facts, labeled business details and open access for AI tools help assistants describe what you do correctly.

Start with one page. Grow into many.

A one-page site puts everything on a single scroll: what you do, prices, hours, a map and a form. It is quick to set up and easy to read on a phone. When you add services, towns or news, switch to multi-page and the same content spreads into proper pages, each one able to rank on its own.

Found on Google, and described correctly by AI assistants

More people now ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity which plumber to call or where to eat. Those tools can only recommend businesses they can read and understand. Every PHP Site Manager site is built so they can.

Google says there are no extra requirements to appear in its AI Overviews beyond normal good SEO, and no special files or markup are needed. Google Search Central

So we do the fundamentals properly, on every page, without you thinking about it.

Questions owners ask

What is PHP Site Manager?

PHP Site Manager is a website builder for small businesses (a content management system, or CMS, built in PHP). You choose a template made for your kind of business, fill in your details and publish a one-page or multi-page website. We host it for you. A self-hosted license for running it on your own server is in preparation, with a waitlist on the pricing page.

How much does it cost?

Hosted plans start at $9 a month paid yearly ($12 month to month) for a single-page site, and $19 a month paid yearly for a full multi-page Business site. Optional setup help is a one-time $249. Forms and basic search setup are included in every plan, with no transaction fees. Hands-on help such as local SEO work is an optional, fixed-price service.

Should my business have a one-page or multi-page website?

One page works well when people need a few facts quickly: a cafe, a tradesperson, an event or a coming soon page. Choose multi-page when you offer several services people search for separately, serve several towns, or publish news and guides. On PHP Site Manager you can start with one page and switch to multi-page later without rebuilding.

Will my website show up in Google and in AI answers?

Nobody can guarantee rankings or AI mentions. What we do is set up everything search engines and AI assistants need to find and understand your business: fast pages, clean text, a sitemap, structured data for your type of business, open access for search crawlers and a plain summary file for AI tools (llms.txt). Google says AI Overviews need no special markup beyond normal good SEO, and that is what every site gets by default.

Is it hard to edit?

If you can fill in a form, you can edit your site. Hours, prices, menu items, services and photos are each edited in their own simple form, and the page updates as soon as you save.

Can I leave and take my website with me?

Yes. You can download your whole site, including pages, images and form entries, at any time. You own your domain and your content.

Can you move my site from Wix, Squarespace or WordPress?

Yes. WordPress and Squarespace export files import directly, and for Wix and other builders without an export we read your live pages and copy the text, images and contact details into drafts. Old page addresses redirect to the new ones.

Is it available now?

Hosted plans are in early access. We set up each new site with the owner, one at a time, so we can help with content and domains. Send a request and a real person replies within one business day. Most sites are ready to go live within a week.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you cancel. Yearly plans get a full refund in the first 30 days; after that you can cancel any time and your site stays live until the paid year ends. Your web address and a full download of your site stay yours either way.

How do I pay?

By card, only once you have seen your preview and want it to go live. Nothing is charged when you send a request.

Do you take a cut of my sales or bookings?

No. Booking, ordering and payment links go to the providers you already use, and we take no fees.

See your site before you pay.
